My sophomore self-titled album "SHEENA" communicates a new version of me, one that went through the fire of struggle and emerged empowered. It is an introspective look into my heart and it's my hope that it will show that though the trials in life may break and confuse you, God will not forsake you. The song “I Win” is a testament to the God who truly kept me through the storm. "Ladies Anthem" was created to give a voice to those ladies who feel too afraid to speak up. My prayer is that these songs will inspire, empower and motivate you to move forward from any circumstance/past situation where you have felt defeated or ashamed.

behind my latest single “exposed” is about, I've experienced heartache, Let down after let down and far too many unkept promises. through it all, despite the mistakes of some choices made a long the way, God still reminded me of His true purpose and plan for my life and continue to pursue me with reckless abandon. When we allow ourselves to be vulnerable, exposing all of our doubts and insecurities, that's when we truly allow God to be the healer of our hearts. His plan for us will always be bigger and better than any plan we try to set for ourselves. because we were made in his image We are more than enough and his love for us is infinite.-sl

I’m excited to share with you one of my new singles called “home” featuring christon gray.When I wrote this song, I wanted to be intentional about the lyrics, ideas for production, sound and delivery. Also having Christon Gray as a feature gave the song another layer of color and soul. I wanted to share what being in the presence of God feels like for me and also encourage others to seek God during these times. I want you to know that in/with Him is where we find peace, love and joy. Come alive in His presence because He is home. I hope you feel that too when you listen to this song.

“FiG LEAVES”. The story of Adam & Eve and how they tried to hide from God inspired me to write this song. I wanted to shed light on some of the things we use as fig leaves today, figuratively speaking. As well as share my experience... Most if not all of us still try to cover our life with “FiG LEAVES”, we grab hold of them to hide from the very One who sees/knows us in our entirety and He still loves us dearly. So you can throw away them “FiG LEAVES”.
