Who is Sheena LEE?
New York native Sheena Lee is no stranger to music and its impact in the hearts and minds of people. With two critically acclaimed albums – 2013’s Destiny and 2015’s Sheena – she continues to stay the course of her calling to make music that represents God’s Love. Both albums, with appearances from fellow recording artists Andy Mineo, Benjah, Butta P of Rhema Soul, and Hezekiah Walker have garnered praise from the industry and fans alike.
Her work with Nicky Cruz Outreach and its urban outreach ministry known as T.R.U.C.E. (To Reach Urban Communities Everywhere) would serve as the springboard to her musical and spiritual journey. She appeared on three albums released under T.R.U.C.E. as one of its featured artists as well as performed in the lead role of the off-Broadway play, Run Baby Run, about the life of Nicky Cruz. Her mission work in urban communities has not only been domestic, but international as well, traveling to Oslo and London, respectively.
With performances on local stages and events such as the Martin Luther King Concert Series at Wingate Field in Brooklyn to regional stages and events such as Flavor Fest at Crossover Church in Tampa, Florida, Sheena has shared the stage with some of Christian/Gospel music’s notables such as Andy Mineo, Hezekiah Walker, Israel Houghton & New Breed, and Mary Mary.
Currently working on her third yet untitled project, Sheena once again looks to bring her unique sound and encouragement to listeners.
